I think we need to accept that award shows are about ratings and not talent. The Grammys simply want to jump on the bandwagon when it comes to the popular celebrity of the moment...This is why Beyonce's Halo beat Jazmine Sullivan's Lions, Tigers and Bears... This is why Lil Wayne's album beat Lupe Fiasco's last year or whenever... This is why Beyonce won SIX BLOODY GRAMMYS! The girl is good but SIX??? Now she holds the female record for most wins in one night... I am sorry but she doesn't merit that title... Too many legends have gone before her.
The Grammys stopped being about talent a looong time ago... I mean, they even have a separate show for less famous artists like Jazz and "world" musicians which is screened before the "main event". I feel your pain about this Taylor Swift issue o, but it is what it is... LOL at asking Kanye to come and get her, though... :)
