apparently she's a comedienne..
pls Sarah whatever you call yourself...keep your day job....
and i'm not dissing her just because she made racist comments or whatever ,
but my thing is..if your gonna say something that is racist and is probably going to offend people...at least make it funny
...in fact make it very funnny that we'd have to burst out laughing so hard and it won't even click in our heads that it is offensive until like 10 mins later..
meanwhile 'enjoy' the crap i stumbled upon this evening....

I dont get why these people are laughing..whats funny? ~smh~
I really don't think this qualifies as "racist". People take the piss out of famous characters in history all the time... She wasn't very funny- but it definitely wasn't racist.
not funny!
erm..tbh im not sure how it racist...but i do agree dat it isnt funny...
matter of fact i was very puzzled at the 'joke'
it is racist IMO and some other people think it is...
you might not see it that way.....but ..some people do
Something being in poor taste is not the same thing as it being racist. Such a term carries a lot of weight and cannot be applied to all situations. For instance, if she made a joke about black features- steareotypically full lips etc... THAT would be racist cos it is particularly insulting to the black race. Her attempt to poke fun at MLK (Poorly) would have been the same if she made fun of Abraham Lincoln or George Washington or any white historical figure...
The bit about "the blacks" having killed Jesus was a bit random but is the same as how comedians take the piss out of Asian people not understanding English etc... Racial jokes work for some and don't work for others- in this case, the latter happened.
Sorry for the mini-essay o... I just don't think the term @racist@ should be slapped on anyone who makes a controversial comment about black people. Now, if I may ask, what makes it racist in your opinion?
well i guess the word i was looking for was racially offensive..because it has a higher chance of offending people of a particular race (in this case African-Americans) because of what MLK and his "dream" means to them....
so it might not be racist per se (this is subjective/...to some people it may)..but surely racially offensive...\\once again IMO....
and I wasn't "slapping the term "racist" " on her....
there was no where in my post that i called her a racist..it is in the caption of the youtube video....not my words..
