ok...blogvillites biko i need u guys help for a couple of things....... would appreciate if one of u sexy individuals help me out....

1. I have a yoruba project due soon...its a technology project...counts for like 15% of ur grade.....
our professor assigned topics to each of us .....I HATE MY TOPIC......its not what i wanted....i was hoping to get FOOD or GREETINGS or FAMILY or DRESSING.... i got PROFESSIONS.....its not like i dont know it ...i just dont know what to do with it......
what my professor basically wants is for you to showcase ur topic using any technological means whatsoever....powerpoints,.....videos.....softwares....etc
last year my friend used a combination of powerpoints and "who wants to be a millionaire"...what she did was teach her topic to the class (because on the day of the presentation you are meant to teach/present ur topic) with powerpoints and then played a game of "who wants to be a millionaire" by asking the class questions and winning "imaginary" money.

ok...so these are my options.....
1. do powerpoint presentation with pictures and slides showcasing professions and giving all the info i need to give then play a game of 'jeopardy' or something and ask students questions and actually have rewards for correct answers like candy or bubblegum or something.... (yea i'm nice like dat.....lol....plus u kno Africans like candy like hell)

2. do a video having different people dressed up as doctors, lawyers...or whatever profession and have them say things like "Emi je dokita" (I am a doctor)..."Emi je agbejoro"(I am a lawyer)..."Emi je ojogbon" (I am a professor)...and have different scenarios where they come in useful/handy....like helping a sick person or something....

like I am really confused........
I hate this topic...ITS NOT FUN..ITS NOT CREATIVE...THERE IS NOT MUCH U CAN DO WITH IT...U CANT REALLY PLAY AROUND WITH IT......

i would post videos of projects from last year, i have a couple of friends who uploaded theirs on FB...but the videos are private..in such a way that if ur not the persons friend on FB u cant see the video..... plus i dont kno if they would be okay with that sha..

so please what do u guys think i should do? would appreciate any feedback.

this class is a 5 hr class.....so making an A in this class will be the bomb!!!! lol....
its an easy class for me though.....and i'm making an A in the class as it is.... my average from all the tests in the class right now is 99%...... and i am beasting the homeworks and all as well....
but i want to completely beast this technology project too mehn!!!! i want the complete 15% biko...not 14...not 14.5%.....15%!!......

we also have an orals test next week.... she'll ask us individual questions and we will reply and she'll test our delivery, our tones and pronunciations...our understanding of the question..etc...that one is 10% of the grade.,....am not so worried about that one because my tones and pronunciations are good for now......

I JUST WANT TO BEAST THIS TECHNOLOGY PROJECT MEHN!!!!

so yea...remember i said i cut my hair lower?..it grew into a mini afro so i cut it....here are some pics of the hair..i also dyed it deep red too...but because my hair is soo black...it didnt come out well....but i shall re-dye as soon as a get the chance to hit the salon... :)

speaking of salon....... for the first time in my life i let a non black/ non african person touch my hair........ i was skeptical about it at first.... because i had always said i was never gonna let a white/hispanic/asian person come near my hair......
my reason being: they wont really know what to do with african/negro hair texture....

but on that fateful day...am like "you kno what? f**k it".....this hispanic woman was the only one i could go to..because i was in a hurry...and i really needed a haircut mehn...i was looking like i was about to shoot a movie titled "KUNTA KINTE RETURNS" or something with that weird afro....lol.....

so i asked her " have u done black hair before?"...she's like "no".... so i'm like "ok..i need a haircut...this is what u should do..... follow the waves on my hair...whichever direction my hair is growing...cut it dat way..because cutting black hair is quite different from cutting caucasian hair and don't be scared"....lol

and she did good!!! she did a great job.... she wasnt overwhelmed by how thick and curly my hair is or anything...she did fantastic.....and she told me i have beautiful strong hair!! :D
but they charged me oh.... $25 to cut hair and $50 to dye..kai!! so i paid $75 for something i could just call up a guy friend to do ....
but evyone was busy with test or something...so i just "closed eye" and paid...lol




i love my hair!! i dont think i'll grow it for a looooong time....maybe in 2011 or so.

EDIT: hey guys...u really dont need to kno how to speak yoruba to help me out... :)... its not the speaking that i am having problems with.... i kno what to say and how to say it......
i just need a creative technological means to present it.... so even if u dont kno how to speak....no problemm.....just advice me on what to use and which means will be most effective for teaching/presenting to the class....... as for the speaking and listening aspect.... ur homegurl has it covered....lol
