ok...so randoms... since i really have nothing to say
- I need a massage ...like for real.... i don't wanna pay 40 dollars for a massage...i want a free one....... (23456th reason why i need a temp boyfriend)
- Ok...so the other day...my homegurl was yanning me about how statistics show that women with short hair or mini afros (like mine) are less likely to be approached by men compared to long haired babes..or babes with their weaves on point.
uhm...do the fellas care to explain this to me... ?
another friend says its because we come of as intimidating..... and sometimes too "similar" to guys... because of the short hair....... or is our hair just less pleasing to the eye? I know a couple of gurls who wanted to go natural or grow a mini afro or cut their hair and their bobos were not pleased with the idea,
even when i wanted to cut my hair..... all the men in my family seriously refused (i still cut it anyway.....as a baddddddd babe na...lol)
but yea... i don't get the reason...does anyone know why?
it frightens me to know that my diva status and my girlfriend material status has dropped by 3 points because i cut my hair... and i have a brownish red 'fro.... :(

- still on the topic of hair...... i ordered two 16 inch packs (8 ounces ) of virgin indian hair ... mehn nobody told me that those things will be so expensive.... i guess thats what you get when you don't buy hair yourself and always cajole your aunty/cousin/mummy/daddy to buy you hair..... and then the day you eventually buy it yourself... u realize how expensive it is...
now i understand why my mum always tried to make me keep my hair a little longer.
- everyones gone for spring break.... i need someone to fix my hair..... my hair needs to be fixed before spring break ends......... I am too lazy to go out and everyone i know who can fix hair that lives near me....is gone for the break.. :( *unhappy bunny*
-- I am scared. I am taking my driving test this week...... i don't want to have to take it twice. i shouldn't be worried as i took driving school both in naija and here.... but i am...... wish me luck... :)
-- I need someone to clean up my kitchen... i have dishes piled up....
someone to clean up my closet too... :(
-- my flatmate is going to spain with her boyfriend for the break,.. i am soo jealous (in a good way)...
-- spring is here!!! its warm!!!! its around 70 degrees these days!!! yes!!! *time to rock the minis, shorts, tank tops and "low and beholds" (my mothers name for cleavage baring tops) lol*
-- i just realized how much of a stubborn non conformist i can be
-- i kinda like it.
-- its been about a year and nine months since i was kissed by someone i liked.... lol....
-- i fear that my kissing might get a bit rusty if i don't get kissed soon.. lol

The answer to this hair sturvs is simple. As a society, we are greatly influenced by the media. The media gives us a specific perception of beauty, so people tend to find that narrow view beautiful... It has been ingrained into them. It takes those willing to step out of the box to "get" anything else.

Girl go do those dishes yourself and the hair thing is so not true. That your friend no serious o, guys actually think women in short hair have more confidence, you will get more dates as well provided you are dressed girly.
